Clinical Evaluations
Dr. Venus is currently accepting only private pay clients. She is not in-network with any insurance companies. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits for non-participating providers which may enable you to be reimbursed by your insurance company.
The cost of a clinical neuropsychological evaluation varies, depending upon a number of factors including (but not limited to) time spent with the examinee, review of records, test scoring and interpretation, report writing, and feedback session.
Please contact the office for the current rate of an initial consultation. After the initial phone consultation or interview, Dr. Venus will provide an estimate of the services.
Fees are always due at the time of service, although the overall cost for evaluation may be split into multiple payments across different appointments if arranged. We cannot accept personal checks, but most major credit cards are accepted.
Rates for neuropsychological services vary and depend on many factors, including the nature and complexity of the service, the time spent conducting the evaluation, and the qualifications required for the service to be administered.
Specialty Services
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) evaluations have a flat fee and are based on the specific protocol required.
Aviation consulting fees vary depending upon the nature of the project and services provided. Please inquire within for more information.
For NCAA evaluations, the Program Administrator is the payer for all of the covered neuropsychological services. There are no copays, deductibles, or other out-of-pocket costs to the qualifying class member.
For NFL evaluations, the BAP Administrator will arrange direct payment for the covered services after they have been delivered and administrative or documentation requirements have been fulfilled.
